Been a client for a while. They try hard to do their best for us, I don't smell anything in the lobby, and they are always professional. It's a busy place. Their lunchtime answering service times are kind of a nuisance, but everyone should get a lunch.
They are racist and biased towards people and the place is nasty with vomit blood food and mice fecal. One nurse rolls her eyes at you and constantly negative attitude towards you she's a lil fat pretty Hispanic lady and administration threatened me yesterday that if I was late today they would take my meds away and that's only for doctor to say. The doctors want experiment drugs on you instead of using your medical records first and give you something that you're allergic to and is so bad for your health! they want to give you meds you don't want because of the side effects or don't work for what your mental health. This place is bad! The staff will not even let you get close to the door even if you HAVE insurance. My husband has insurance through United healthcare and DePaul is listed as a provider. When we got there to have him evaluated and checked out they argued with he and I about the insurance coverage. Brenda in admissions made it clear that SHE would not let a potential financial liability through HER doors. This place could care less about patients and more about profits. They will take the uninsured through Waco crisis however, you have to be a considered minority. Waco is in need of a true mental health clinic and DePaul is without a doubt not it. Rude staff, filthy lobby, smelly and just bad. Avoid this place if you can!
